Necati Çiftçi is an İzmir based artist, who currently lives in Foça on the Aegean cost.

Called Phokaia in the ancient times, Foça was one of the most important Ionian settlements. The name arises from the seals living on the islands surrounding the city. The biggest of these islands, Orak Island, harbours Sirens' Rocks mentioned in the Homer's Odyssey.
